SAUSAGE ROLL
5 servings
Ingredients:
1 pack frozen puff pastry
5 pc Frankfurter
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp sesame seeds
Preparation:
- Defrost dough. Cut into five pieces, fitting the size of sausage.
- Place sausage on dough piece, moisten the edges, roll the dough around the sausage and press the ends well together.
- Place rolls on a cold, rinsed cake tray. Gently poke holes into rolls with a fork.
- Stir egg yolk with 1 tbsp water and brush on rolls.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Let stand for 15 minutes, then bake for about 20 minutes in preheated oven with 225 degrees.
- Serve as appetizer.
